Choosing the Right Shaft Length
Outboard shaft lengths are standardized to fit 15″, 20″ and 25″ transoms. Choosing the correct shaft length gives you the best performance and fuel economy. Many Yamaha, Honda and Mercury models also come with power trim and tilt, so you can adjust the trim angle on the fly.
