Why Add Deck Padding?

Bare plastic decks get slippery when wet and hot in the sun. EVA padding gives your feet grip when you stand, shift or climb back aboard, cushions your knees, and stays cooler underfoot. It also protects the deck from scratches and makes a dog much more comfortable on board.

Installation Tips

• Clean the deck with soapy water, rinse and dry fully.
• Wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any grease.
• Dry fit each piece before peeling the backing.
• Press firmly from the center outwards to remove air bubbles.
• Let the adhesive cure before using the kayak.
