Do You Need This Pod?
The X-Drive pod is already included with the Vibe X-Drive Pedal Kit 2.0. You need to buy it separately if you plan to use a third party drive, such as a Hobie Mirage drive, along with the Vibe steering handle. It is also handy as a spare.
Why Add Pedal Power?
A pedal drive frees your hands for fishing, filming or photography, and uses your legs to cover more water with less fatigue. When the wind or tide turns, pedal power gets you home faster than paddling. The pod makes switching between pedals and paddle quick and simple.
Installation
The pod drops into the pedal drive well on compatible Vibe kayaks. Follow Vibe’s instructions for your model, and check that the drive locks securely before heading out. Tell us your kayak model and drive and we will confirm the Vibe X-Drive Pod for sale is the right fit.
Care
- Rinse with fresh water after salt water use.
- Clear sand from the pod and well before fitting the drive.
- Store out of direct sun.
