Why Welded Aluminium?

A welded hull has no rivets to work loose, so it stays watertight for years even when it's dragged up beaches and banged against rocks. Aluminium is also light, which means a small outboard pushes it well and a modest car can tow it. That's why welded skiffs are so popular for river fishing, duck hunting, lake fishing and as work boats.

Tiller or Console?

The WV14 demo package uses a tiller motor: simple, cheap and great for one or two people fishing. The WV14L has a centre console with a steering wheel, which is more comfortable on longer runs and lets everyone face forward.
