Suzuki 350 HP Outboard for Sale: The DF350A
The DF350A is Suzuki's flagship and one of the most distinctive outboards on the water. Instead of a single propeller, it uses Suzuki's Dual Prop system: two propellers on one gear case, turning in opposite directions. The result is outstanding grip, strong acceleration and straight tracking, especially on heavy offshore boats. Here is every Suzuki 350 HP outboard for sale in our stock.

What Makes the DF350A Special
Dual counter rotating propellers
Two props share the load, so each can be smaller while together they grip more water. That means a strong holeshot, less slip in rough water and better control at low speeds when docking.
High compression V6
The DF350A uses a large displacement V6 with a high compression ratio for strong power and efficiency, plus a two stage gear reduction to turn the twin props.
Drive by wire
Suzuki Precision Control gives smooth, precise throttle and shift response and simplifies multi engine installations.
Straight tracking
Because the two props counter each other's torque, a single DF350A tracks straight without the steering pull of a single prop engine, and twin installations do not need separate counter rotation models.
Boats That Suit a Suzuki 350
- Large offshore centre consoles of 9 to 12 metres in twin or triple installations.
- Heavy sportfishing boats and cruisers that need grip in rough seas.
- Catamarans and commercial boats that carry big loads.
- Repowers of older high horsepower rigs where more thrust is needed.
25 or 30 Inch Shaft?
X models have a 25 inch shaft; XX models have a 30 inch shaft. Large offshore boats with high transoms and multi engine setups often use XX. Measure from the top of the transom to the bottom of the hull and confirm with us before ordering.
Rigging Notes
The DF350A needs Suzuki Precision Control electronic controls and harnesses, a start panel or key switch, heavy duty hydraulic or electric steering suited to its weight and power, strong batteries and a high flow fuel system with water separation. Because it uses its own dual prop sets, factor prop selection into the build.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the DF350A need a counter rotation version for twins?
No. The dual counter rotating props balance torque on each engine.
Can I use normal propellers?
No, it uses dedicated dual prop sets.
Is it heavier than the DF300AP?
Yes, it is a larger engine. Check your transom's weight rating.
