How SandTrakz Wheels Work
On soft sand, wider wheels are not always better. Bulldozers and tanks use long tracks so they do not dig in. SandTrakz wheels copy that idea: the outer rim compresses under load, creating a longer contact patch. That reduces how hard you have to pull on soft sand. On hard ground, the same compression acts like suspension, so the cart moves smoothly from sand to pavement.
Why You Need a Cart
Fishing kayaks often weigh 70 to 100 lb loaded. Carrying one across a car park or beach is hard work, and dragging damages the hull. A cart lets one person move a heavy kayak easily. It suits the Sea Ghost 130, Yellowfin 130T and most sit on top kayaks within its capacity.
Care
- Wash the wheels after each use to clear sand from the axle.
- Do not leave the wheels in strong sunlight for long periods.
- Do not store a loaded kayak on the wheels for long periods.
