Better Value Than Two Singles
A single Crystal Explorer kayak is $1,599, so two singles would cost $3,198. The Crystal Explorer kayak pair for sale is $2,598, a saving of $600, with the same kayaks and the same accessories for each. If you know you want two, the pair is the smart way to buy.
Paddle Side by Side
The best part of owning two clear kayaks is sharing the view. Paddle side by side over a reef or a sea grass bed and point out what you see. Couples can each have their own kayak. Families can split up two adults and two children across the boats. Friends can race, explore and take photos of each other gliding over the water below.
Built for Resorts, Rentals and Vacation Homes
The Crystal Explorer is a favourite with hotels, resorts, water sport rental companies and vacation home owners. A pair lets you run a small guided tour, offer two rentals at once, or give a family of four a complete experience. Clear kayak sessions are memorable, highly photographed and easy to sell. For more than two kayaks, contact us for fleet options.
How the Hulls Are Made
Each hull is formed in a computer designed mould. Technicians place 6 mm GE Lexan sheets into a vacuum mould for a perfect shape, and laser guided machinery cuts every hole for the frame and hardware. Quality checks run throughout, and each kayak carries a one year warranty. A proprietary 40 micron UV absorbing lacquer, at 6 percent concentration, is applied to both sides of each hull to resist yellowing.
Assembly for Two
Choose self assembly or pre assembled. Self assembly takes about 45 to 60 minutes for your first kayak and around 20 minutes for the second once you know the steps. If you choose pre assembled, both kayaks are assembled before shipping, and you only fit the skeg on each, which takes about 3 minutes. Pre assembly is available on orders of up to two kayaks, so the pair qualifies.
Stackable Storage
The frame, seats and flotation chambers all come out, so two hulls stack neatly. That saves a lot of space in a boathouse, garage or rental shed, and makes transport easier. Keep them in the shade on a soft surface to protect the clear hulls.
Where to Paddle
The Crystal Explorer works in conditions from flat to breezy and choppy water, but it is at its best in clear water: lagoons, reefs, springs, clear lakes and sandy bays. Paddle early in the day for calm, clear conditions. Stay close to shore in wind.
